Today we will inform you about the famous and well-known motivational author "Louise Lynn Hay."

Louise Hay was born on 8 October 1926, in California, U.S. Her birth name was "Helen Vera Lunney."

Louise had a very hard childhood. Her mother was very poor & her stepfather used to physically abuse her and her mother.

In 1950, Hay started her career as a fashion model & also changed her first name. She worked with fashion designers like Bill Blass & Oleg Cassini.

In 1954, Louise married businessman "Andrew Hay," but after 14 years of marriage, he left her for another woman.

In 1976, she wrote and published her first book, "Heal Your Body." The book is about how thoughts & beliefs can affect our physical & mental health.

In 1978, Hay suffered from incurable vaginal cancer, but she didn't take any medical treatment; rather, she began mental therapy and self-healing techniques.

She started using the power of visualization, affirmations, and nutritional cleansing. She cured herself of cancer in just six months.

In 1984, she extended her first book with "You Can Heal Your Life." This book was published in 30 languages and was a New York Times best-seller.

"You Can Heal Your Life" sold over 50 million copies worldwide. Due to this, Hay became a famous motivational author. She died on 30 August 2017 at the age of 90.
