Selena was a Mexican-American Tejano singer. She is also referred to as the Queen of Tejano Music.


In 1981, Selena started her music career with an American Tejano band called "Selena y Los Dinos."


She released her self-titled studio album "Selena", on 17 October, 1989, with EMI Latin.
