Elvis Presley, Born on 8 January, 1935, was an American singer and actor. His real name was Elvis Aaron Presley.
He also had a twin brother, Jesse Garon Presley, who was stillborn 35 minutes before the birth of Elvis.
On October 3, 1945, at the age of 10 Elvis made his first public performance at the Alabama State Fair, where he sang Red Foley's song "Old Shep."
Presley did not receive any formal music education and was not able to read music, but he learned and played music by ear.
Elvis is also one of the best-selling musicians of all time, having sold over one billion records worldwide.

For around two years (from 1958 to 1960), Elvis also served in the United States Army.
Elvis was a skilled martial artist. Who earned his 1st degree black belt in 1960 under karate champion Hank Slemansky.
In 2018, Elvis Presley was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Donald Trump.
